Malaysia news latest: Interstate travel allowed starting Monday


Malaysia Latest News: Senior Minister Datuk Ismail Sabri has announced that Interstate and Inter-district travelling is available starting Monday. However, areas under the Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) are still unable to travel due to COVID-19 spreading possibility.

Areas under EMCO include places like the Top Glove factories and dormitories. Those places are definitely off-limits.

The senior minister also said police will no longer set up roadblocks. However, they will tighten supervision on standard operating procedures (SOP) instead.

The latest Malaysia news also reports cancelling the limit for maximum 3 person per vehicle is also one of the things that has been done. ‘If the car is a 4-person vehicle, then it’s limit is 4 people. If it is a 6-person MPV, the limit is 6 people’.
