During MCO, students were forced to study at home through online. Think about the bed near to you, phone on your study table, and many allures that prevent you from focus. How do you suppose to do to focus deeply? There are few tips listed below for you to study efficiently.

Effective method

For first and foremost, here comes the king of distraction: the phone. Shut down or silent your phone to block all the notification from social media, app, chrome, or even phone version update. You can easily distract from these notifications popping-sound, and if you take a look at the screen, you will not be able to focus back on the importance. Keep the phone away from you to an unreachable place.

Second, you should create a clean and comfortable study area for your brain to concentrate. Nobody could study efficiently in a messy place. If you decided to study in the bedroom, clean the study table, sweep the floor, make your room clean. You should study at a place constantly to let your brain adapt to the environment. The space should be comfortable, quiet, and minimum distraction.

Manage your time

Third, this method called “five seconds rule”. Force yourselves to shout out the thing that you want to do within 5 seconds. After 5 seconds, your brain and body will procrastinate and the importance will be left day after day. So, shout it out and force yourselves to begin the study. The first step is always the hardest.

Plan your day

Plan your day wisely and follow the schedule planned. If you don’t schedule the day, you will be targetless and lack of motivation to study. The different tasks required a different level of concentration. Complete the tough subject in the morning and left the easier one to another time slot. Avoid rushing to get something done at the very last minute.

Fifth, take a 20 to 30 minutes nap in the afternoon for refreshment. 20 to 30 minutes nap can improve brain functions ranging from memory to focus and creativity, but not longer than one hour. More than one hour nap will make your brain and body even more exhaust than before taking nap. Sometimes it may cause headaches after you wake up.

Maintain good self-discipline

Finally, student study at home is not easy stuff. Hopefully, all the students can overcome the distraction and score the exam with flying colors.
