Details on CMCO in Klang

The National Security Council (NSC) will announce the details of the Klang Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO).

This is to ensure the coordination and unification of CMCO information that will be implemented in the region. Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari stated.

He said: “As for the state government, we will work closely with all agencies to ensure the well-being of the people.”

He added that the state government has provided Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin with feedback and suggestions related to the implementation of CMCO in the Klang region this morning.

“All the feedback and suggestions with several improvements were forwarded virtually to Muhyiddin during the NSC special meeting at 11am.”

He said that during the CMCO meeting in Klang district, various agencies and departments collected feedback and suggestions. The meeting has chaired by Secretary of State Datuk Mohammed Amin Ahmed Ahmed.

Amirudin said that the state government will continue to conduct targeted inspections in the red zone to control the spread of Covid-19.

The latest wave of Covid-19 has prompted the government to implement CMCO in Klang. And also Sandakan, Papa and Tuaran in Sabah.

Yesterday, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, the Senior Minister of the Ministry of Security, announced the news. He said that the move has recently recorded in these areas with more than 40 incidents. Taken after a positive case.

Starting tomorrow, Klang will be under at CMCO for 14 days.
